Recently, on January 25-26, 2010 IBT attended the TechMecca 2010 Premier Conference and Expo for Financial Institutions held at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Tx. Not only were we an exhibitor this year, but we were a Silver Level Sponsor for the event as well. Some of our highest officials and most experienced staff were on hand to give demonstrations and answer questions about our software and services while a jazz band played in the Expo area and gave a fun bluesy and calming aura to what could have been a stuffy room. The beautiful hotel and amazing hand pianted guitar statues that speckled the floor were eye catching and very cleverly driven towards this year's theme "Rock the Business". Even though Integrated Bank Technology has a one of the most esteemed products in market right now, our main mission is innovation. Having the ability to see the need for change in the industry and facilitating it's progress. This one on one time with bankers in today's industry and hearing their needs and concerns is invaluable. And it's this exposure to the direct line of banking's future that brings us back every year. Many honorable guest speakers were present to give some amazing insight and positive views for the future of our economy, our industry and our country. Although several of the speakers at the conference were both inspiring and comical, the real laughter started during the TechMecca first ever video contest. Rules were as follows: make a homeade video describing your best practices, lessons learned, etc. while entertaining the viewer. Then load the video to youtube and post on the TechMeccarocks.com site. IBT was excited about the chance to participate in this contest and decided to make one spoofing current events and other internet viral videos.  All the contestants' videos were shown live at the conference and a live vote via remotes was taken. IBT won the video contest with a whopping 47% of the vote! Below is our winning entry. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it!
