National Bank of Arkansas Selects IBT’s Image Teller Solution
--Solution to speed up processing and increase efficiency--

CEDAR PARK, Texas, Nov. 12, 2008 – Integrated Bank Technology (IBT), a company that specializes in engineering software applications for in-house and ASP environments and provides 24/7 support services to community financial institutions across the country, announced that it has collaborated with its preferred partner, Financial Systems & Equipment (FS&E), to provide Integrated Image Teller to National Bank of Arkansas. The bank will use the new technology to enhance its processing capabilities and reduce operating costs.

“We are always seeking ways to provide our customers with better service and more convenience, which we will be able to accomplish with Integrated Image Teller,” Steve Arendt, executive vice president at National Bank of Arkansas, explained. “We selected IBT’s product because of its many features, ease of use and integration with our current core provider. The pricing was favorable and we feel it was the best product of those we reviewed. We are also pleased with the relationship we have had with Mark Dittman, CEO of IBT, over the years. With the installation of Integrated Image Teller, the bank will create an electronic copy of each check at the teller line, allowing for electronic presentment and real time posting of transactions. Furthermore, back office personnel needs are reduced due to the virtual elimination of encoding read failures, thereby significantly reducing day 2 processing. Everything that happens in that interaction is logged for both the customer and National Bank of Arkansas employees to access immediately.

“While the recent failures of some of the largest financial institutions are unfortunate, this situation presents an opportunity for community banks because many customers are reconsidering their current choice for a primary financial institution,” Mike Golebiowski, president of IBT, commented. “The installation of innovative technology, such as Integrated Image Teller, is vital to attracting these customers and providing the banking experience that they want.”

“At first glance the Integrated Image Teller software appears to be user friendly and intuitive. We liked the virtual tickets for teller transactions and can see a cost savings benefit by reducing printing costs. We especially liked the BSA/AML/OFAC integration in IBT with real time aggregation of CTR transactions and OFAC scanning of official checks.”
